About Gunilla Wall
I discovered cake and sugar art more than 20 years ago and it quickly evolved from a hobby to a passion and a business. For many years I ran the online store Tårtkonst and arranged courses for cake enthusiasts. I released two DVD courses in Swedish and have participated in exhibitions and won several cake competitions. Among other things, I won the first season of Det stora tårtslag (The great cake battle) which was aired on national TV in the spring of 2016.
Since 2009 I also devote myself to chocolate and choclate bonbon making. I have attended various classes with world renowned Ramon Morató at Aula Chocovic outside Barcelona where I learned his methods for how to produce well-balanced ganache of high quality. Since then, I have developed a large collection of recipes that are constantly being developed and this forms the basis of our range of chocolate bonbons. Everything is made by hand and we never add additives such as preservatives, palm fat or similar.
As a resident at our hotel, you can always buy our bonbons and we also sell them in our online store. Around major holidays such as Christmas and Easter, we have the shop open in Sockerslottet and we also participate in Christmas markets and food festivals during the year.
