General booking rules
Booking and confirmation
Reservatons can be made online, via email, or over the phone. A reservation is considered binding once it has been confirmed. This confirmation can be done verbally over the phone or in writing via email. At this point, you and the hotel have entered into an agreement. However, there is some flexibility for cancellations – please refer to the ‘Cancellation and No-Show’ policy. When making a reservation, you are required to provide your name, address, arrival and departure times, as well as the chosen payment method.
Check-in / Arrival
The hotel entrance is only open to registered guests (via keycard). Therefore, an appointment for check-in must be scheduled when booking your room. If you are delayed and unable to arrive at the specified time, please notify us as soon as possible so that we can arrange a new time and be available when you arrive. Check-in is available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival.
Check-out / Departure
The room must be vacated no later than 11:00 AM on the day of departure unless otherwise agreed.

Rescheduling can be done until 3:00 PM the day before arrival by phone at +46 550 10550 or via email at info@sockerslottet.com
Cancellation and No-Show
Cancellations must be made no later than 3:00 PM the day before arrival. In case of later cancellation or a no-show, you will be charged for one night. Different terms apply for group bookings. Please contact us if you wish to book four rooms or more.
If you wish to check out earlier than the departure date you initially booked for, the same rules as for cancellation apply. (no later than 3:00 PM on the day before the desired departure date).
Payment
You can choose to pay at the time of booking or at check-in. During check-in, a valid payment card and identification must be presented.
For bookings on a non-refundable rate, payment is due at the time of booking. Such bookings cannot be cancelled or changed
If a cancellation is made within the cancellation deadline, the first night is refundable. There will be no refund for cancellations made after the cancellation deadline. Upon check-out from the hotel, the entire hotel bill must be settled. We accept payment by card (VISA, Mastercard).

Smoking / Pets / Allergies
There is an absolute smoking ban in the rooms and all other areas of the hotel. If smoking occurs in or in close proximity to the premises, it will trigger the automatic fire alarm. Individuals causing alarms due to smoking will be responsible for all alarm, service, and cleaning costs incurred.
The cleaning cost is estimated at a minimum of 4000 SEK, and triggering a fire alarm (fire department response for false alarms) is 5000 SEK and will be charged to the hotel bill.
Smoking is only permitted in the designated area outside the hotel’s entrance.
Sockerslottets Hotell är djurfritt och det är inte tillåtet att ta med någon form av husdjur. Det enda undantaget är assistanshund som får tas med i det handikappanpassade rummet. This must be specified at the time of booking.
Breakfast is included. If you have specific breakfast preferences (lactose intolerance, gluten-free, etc.), please specify them at the time of booking.

House Rules / Right to Refuse Accommodation
Sockerslottet is a small hotel where we aim to provide our guests with peace and tranquility at all hours of the day. Therefore, it is important that guests keep this in mind and do not disrupt the comfort of other guests. We kindly request that guests maintain a normal conversational volume when gathering in the lounge on the second floor.
If guests engage in disruptive behavior or cause disturbance to other guests or residents in the vicinity of the hotel, they may be asked to leave the premises. If any of the guests in the room are required to leave the hotel due to disruptive behavior or neglect of their responsibilities under this agreement, the guest is not entitled to a refund or any other compensation.
Consumption of outside alcohol is not allowed in the hotel’s shared areas, outdoor patio, or garden. You may enjoy your own alcohol only in your private room.
